Reflection on Mr. Kenny’s workshop

How is this workshop connected to our class and what we have been learning?

  • We have learned about environmental issue and how to sustain and keep our world green and peaceful and those lessons are connected with what Mr. Kenny has been doing for 17 years, he traveled and raised awareness of our environment problem to people around the world. He is basically on the next level of our class by now.

What does it mean to do all this? Is it only for people who have too much time to spend/waste?

  • Everybody could do like Mr.Kenny, I believe that we all have enough time to care about the place we are currently living now. It doesn’t need to be a big project, it could probably start from our neighbourhood or even in our house. We can help save the world!

Personal level: what have you connected the most with today’s workshop? What is your next step? Pick one of your “what you love” and pick one “what you care about”.

  • I was connected to the word “go outside and play”. It encourages me to do something else than staying in the room or house, he showed me that the outside is pretty much interesting.
  • What I love is going to the gym
  • What I care about is poor child or uneducated child.

Class level: how did we as a class participate and involve in the workshop? Did we respect the learning environment and our guest speaker?

  • We didn’t answer or give him an answer he asked at all but I think we did a great job in listening and watching his video. We did a great job on creating a What I love/What I care poster though.
